My latest ASOS buys...

So yes, I can't quit window shopping online and have succumbed to buying a couple of items from ASOS recently. To be fair however, I really needed these items cause most of my clothes don't fit me no more...

1. Knitted Striped Dress; 2. Wrap Dress
I just passed the halfway mark and I can't button my work pants and skirt any more. I bought myself the Belly Belt a few weeks ago but I feel so self-conscious walking around with my zip undone! So I thought now would be a good time to invest in some maternity dresses. You can imagine my excitement when I discovered that ASOS does maternity, woot woot!

I was ecstatic when the dresses finally arrived but unfortunately, it was short-lived. The Knitted Striped Dress turned out alright but I was really disappointed with the Wrap Dress. Firstly, the fit was not right at the bust area. There was just too much material there and it made me look really top heavy. Secondly, and the most disappointing part was that the draping at the side of the dress made me look HUGE (and I'm a size UK8)! It just did not flatter the bump at all... I mean, I know we're supposed to show off our bump 'loud n proud' but the dress made me look like I should have popped a month ago.

Oh well... Looks like my online window shopping will go on... Will update when I find nice maternity stuffs...

Looks like Kate's got it too...

I L-O-V-E Kate's coral J Brand Jeans!!! The jeans is actually the same style featured in my earlier post, it's just a different colour.

Be prepared to see girls/women all over the world in coral jeans now...

Coloured Jeans

I must admit, I was a bit skeptical when the 'Coloured Jeans' trend started to pop up on every runway... It's not that I didn't like it cause I LOVED it! But I was just a bit skeptical as to how long it would last... As usual, the celebrities were all out in force rocking the trend...

Looking back, I am sooo glad I went ahead and bought my coloured jeans last year despite my skepticism :D

Topshop Moto Kristen High Waisted Jeans in Cobalt

Zara skinny jeans in green

Judging from the Spring runway, it looks like coloured jeans are still here to stay, so now I'm thinking I need to get a pair of red or rose-coloured jeans :) I love these!!!

1. Rich & Skinny; 2. Rag & Bone; 3. ASOS; 4. Rag & Bone; 5. Habitual; 6. J Brand

Till next time!

Kristen Stewart: Bring Back the Minis?

After seeing a couple of Kristen Stewart's looks for the Breaking Dawn: Part 1 premier/promo tour, I may have to eat back my words...

To be fair to me (the lawyer in me is constantly trying to justify herself hehe), she was going on red carpet looking like...

She just looks so out of place in this princess-y Oscar de la Renta gown

Her in this Chanel dress just makes me cringe

I know a lot of people loved her in this exquisite Monique Lhuillier creation but I still don't think the look suits her...

But I have to say, she has definitely stepped up her game...

Gorgeous J Mendel dress with a thigh-high baring slit

She keeps the look edgy with her 'cat-eye' make up

I want this Roberto Cavalli dress!!!! Though I don't know where I'd wear it to hehe... This is a look we hardly see her in but the leather waisted belt keeps the look edgy

So what do you guys think? Are you guys liking her glamourous dresses or should she be bringing back the minis? I'm still on the fence... I shall wait for more of her promo tours...

Feminine Blazers

One of the most versatile piece of clothing any woman can have is a nice tailored blazer.

The great thing about blazers are that it can be both casual and formal... You can pair it with a dress for work or just t-shirt and jeans for a relaxed weekend. I love how it instantly smarts up any outfit! It is definitely my go-to item for casual Fridays at the office.

Currently, I have my eye on these very pretty blazers. I love the interesting touches to it that makes each of it so feminine...

Hart of Dixie Looks: Lemon Breeland

As promised...

Current Obsession: Rachel Bilson's new CW show 'Hart of Dixie'... LOVE IT!!!

I've never really noticed Jaime King until this series... In the show, she plays a 'Southern Belle' named Lemon Breeland who's adored by everyone in her small town. So her style in the series matches her Southern Belle character where she's dressed in full-skirted dresses, floral hair accessories, tea dresses and cute little cardigans...

This dress reminds me of Belle from Beauty and the Beast... Hmmm... Belle vs. Southern Belle... coincidence?

I like how although she's wearing yellow all over, the matchy-matchy outfit doesn't look OTT

I love the pairing of the Marc Jacobs multi-coloured maxi dress here with the yellow knit cardigan!

Another yellow cardigan... Does it have anything to do with the fact that her name is Lemon in the show?

Lovin' the Fuchsia cardigan!

I absolutely adore this vintage dress!!! Mostly cause I'm currently crushing on anything 'sea-green'!

This brocade dress is just gorgeous! And it flatters her petite frame. Pity I couldn't get a full length picture of the dress.
